A modern-retro Around Polka Dot Duvet
Creating a room can be retro hip and not outdated. Think early of the 60, 70 or even 80, when the retro style was commonly used. When you think back, you think of hippies with their attitude of peace and love, discos and colorful and geometric. Large and colorful flower prints which also considered quite retro in the early 60's. Believe it or not, this style can be brought to your bedroom, but with a modern twist. The geometric shapes are very popular in today's modern home. Changing your room, from modern to retro, or vice versa, can be easy and affordable. Many modern decor used now have that retro rocket. Let's start with the basics:
When starting to redecorate your bedroom, choose First bedding right. Grand pea is one of the most popular models back in bedding today. I recommend choosing bright colors such as yellow, green, blue and purple, which, as commonly used in the early 70's but came back better than ever. After a cool polka dot duvet cover was chosen, we can miss out on the walls. White walls should do the trick and you can also choose an accent wall and color with one of the bold colors of the quilt. Why the white walls? The white walls will stand with the bedding for the rest of the retro. Walls dark is not the same effect. The accent wall is the wall behind the bed. We want the wall to be clear on the windows. Mirrors Round Place it on the wall or any other geometric pattern or design. Using mirrors make the room look brighter and bigger. Place a shaggy carpet next the bed and modern lounge chair in the corner of the room. Place a large and colorful throw pillows on the couch and a couple of decorative pillows on the bed. Finish the Room with some fresh lava lamps on each side of the bed. In a bedroom for children, sun beds can be replaced with cushions or chairs sofas and swollen. If polka dot bedding is not your style, then try other geometric patterns or a set of quilt with colorful flowers on a white background. Accent wall color with a color of the flowers. All peace, love and happiness!
