How can I make my room less babyish?

My room has not changed since I was in kindergarten with the exception of it changing when I was in second grade because we took the bunk beds down. I share it with my sister and it’s not big but it’s not small. It’s a lavender color with a silly purple and yellow flowered rug on top of a purple rug. (I think it’s shag but I’m not sure.) There are dolls and stuffed animals everywhere and princess themed picture boards and pictures. I have three dressers in my room for me and my sister and one walk in closet. There are also two identical shelves going up to the ceiling and two trunks against the window. Help me make my room less babyish please!

Well maybe you could try using the dressers to divide the room in half, and your little sister could take all the princess stuff, but you could still make it look nice by sticking with a purple/ yellow theme. My older sisters room is purple and yellow and she is 14 Maybe you could make your bed less girly by putting a nice throw blanket over your bed, depending on what your quilt looks like. Another thing you could do would be to hang pictures of you or decorate your room with posters and drawings and things like that. I hope I helped!
