I’m tired of renting Rug Doctors, what’s a good home carpet cleaner for under $300?

Something I could pick up at Walmart, Shopko, Target, or Menards would be nice. I want the best for my money and I took a look at the aforementioned stores and just didn’t know what to get. I don’t just want a steam cleaner either, I’d like it to use a cleaning agent like the rug doctors do. Thanks!
